1. WHO ARE GWE Compliance ?

GWE Compliance are a family run company with family held values.

We offer a 24 hour a day 7 days a week emergency multi trade property maintenance service, Specialising in domestic gas, boilers, heating and hot water we also offer domestic electrics, plumbing and general property maintenance.

 

2. WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT ?

We understand what it’s like to feel vulnerable.

After buying a used car some years ago which turned out to be a dud Lee, one of our founders remembers how stupid and embarrassed he felt and vowed that no customer would ever feel that way after doing business with us so much so that our mission statement reads “Through empathy, caring and understanding we will redefine the expectations of service providers to the general public”

 

3. WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU?

We’re good at what we do, over the years we have listened, learned and adapted based on our customers feedback to evolve from a one man band to a multi trade service provider whilst still staying true to our Promise to never take a single customer for granted.

 

4. HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE YOUR EMPLOYEES FEEL THE SAME?

Before any new employee either field based or office staff are allowed to work for us, after we’ve checked their qualifications, CRB, references etc they must read and sign an agreement to follow are Code of Conduct which sets out a list of minimum expectations when performing any tasks for GWE Compliance.

After each job we either call or email the customer to check that everything went OK and if there was anything we could have done better, on the odd occasion we find a customer with recommendations on how we can improve we listen, feed this back to the engineer and see how we can fit this in to our way of working.

 

5. WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE PROBLEMS AGAIN AFTER YOU’VE LEFT?

All our work is guaranteed for 12 months as per our terms and conditions, if you have any problems in that time which you feel may be related to our work we will return free of charge to investigate the issue, if it turns out to be related to work we have done we will put it right at no cost to you, if the fault is unrelated to our work or due to an underlying issue which we had previously advised you about we will explain the issue and offer you a new quote to repair or replace.

 

6. CAN YOU GIVE ME A FIXED PRICE QUOTE FOR A REPAIR OVER THE PHONE?

Unfortunately no, pre planned jobs like a Boiler service have a fixed price which is clearly displayed on the prices section of our website, some jobs like boiler installations or decorating can be estimated over the phone by asking you a few questions about the job then a fixed quote can be given after visiting the property, other jobs like boiler repairs will need to be investigated on site to determine exactly how much and what work is needed before a fixed price quote can be given.

All site visits that do not have a pre planned fixed price will be charged at 1 hour labour which will be included in the quote, if you choose not to accept the quote we will only ever charge for 1 hours diagnostic labour.

 

7. HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

8. HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept all major credit/debit cards and the engineers are issued with GDPR compliant portable chip and pin machines.

We only accept cash payments as a last resort and unfortunately do not accept cheques.

 

9. WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS?

Generally our payment terms are payment on completion of work, for larger jobs like           boiler installations or where parts are needed for a boiler repair we will usually require part payment to cover the cost of materials as a minimum.

Ofcourse, although we’ve been in business for some years we’re not stuck in our ways and take pride in staying up to date with current trends and technologies.
